Our work keeps Scotland’s water flowing, from reservoir to tap – and from sewer to treatment plant.
Do your bit by joining the ICC team as a Control Engineer! This role is essential for protecting the service to our customers and is an excellent opportunity to develop current knowledge, skills and experience that has successfully supported career advancement of previous role holders.
What you’ll do
Our purpose is to ensure an appropriate business response to a range of risks which might impact Scottish Water's ability to serve our customers. You will utilise the various ICC systems available together with your knowledge, experience and analytical skills to deliver this proactive decision making service. The key aim of the service is to ensure operational events, incidents and customer impacts are minimised whilst ensuring we take every opportunity to maximise customer experience.
You will benefit from a circa 30% shift enhancement / weekend allowance, working a 5 week rotational shift pattern made up from early, back & night shift. Working 19 days with 16 days off inclusive of a 9-day continuous spell every 5 weeks
