  • Job Description

      Req#: CONTR005406
      • Act as a positive leader for your team while ensuring effective and proactive communication; Develop a spirit of continuous improvement;
      • Govern and take charge of the Canadian legal entity;
      • Provide support to the site's financial teams for the monthly closing and reporting process and provide clear and concise monthly financial summaries, enabling the teams to make informed decisions;
      • Support the year-end process, annual inventory count, audits and other government obligations;
      • Cash management;
      • Analyze reports and metrics from supply chain, operations and SG&A departments to identify risks and opportunities;
      • Support managers in budget exercises, forecast and review SG&A expenses, actively participating in the strategic planning process;
      • Contribute to cost reduction projects by actively participating in meetings and updating financial calculations and forecasts.

      We are looking for:

      • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field;
      • CPA, asset
      • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written);
      • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance;
      • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting and advanced Microsoft Excel.
