  Hoss’s Steak & House/Marzoni’s Brick Oven & Brewery Company is looking for a hard-working, experienced Controller to join our Finance Team!

  
  

  Position Overview: Our Finance Department at Hoss’s/Marzoni’s is dedicated to ensuring the financial well-being of our business. Through distributing payments to vendors, providing financial statements, and tracking finances for 33 restaurant locations, our team prides itself on the accuracy and timeliness of their work. As a Controller, you will assist our VP of Finance with managing and directing all accounting processes, while working with leadership to achieve company goals.

  
  

  Essential Roles, Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Credit Card Administration for HMD, WEC, and Marzoni’s
  • Updating Fixed Assets and Depreciation Schedules
  • Verifying and updating real estate tax schedules
  • Completing monthly processes that facilitate production of financial statements
  • Producing Financial Statements by updating programs (balance sheets and P&Ls); analyzing balance sheet accounts; printing and distributing balance sheets, and P&Ls
  • Preparing information for annual audits and reports for insurance companies, census and other outside organizations

  
  

  Qualifications/Abilities:

  • Must have excellent verbal communication and vendor relation skills
  • Must have the ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
  • Must have the ability to analyze problems and make decisions
  • Must have the ability to acquire, evaluate, and analyze data and organize and maintain files
  • Must have excellent basic office skills including secretarial skills, grammar, and punctuation, reading, writing, and mathematics
  • Must be able to operate machinery including computers, printers, ten-key calculator, copy machines, fax machines, etc.
  • Ability to operate Computerized Accounting Systems and use Excel.

  
  

  Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and Four years’ Finance or Management related experience

  
  

  Wages/Benefits:

  • Wages starting at $60,000/yr, and can be negotiated based on experience
