Establish and manage policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems.
Accountable for the of the month-end close process.
Account reconciliation of bank, cash till, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts.
Inventory management, true-ups, and adjustments.
Expense report oversight, accruals, and management.
Accounts payable processing, approval hierarchy and vendor set up.
Continuous cross-functional interaction to ensure compliance to policies and procedures.
Coordinates the input and output of the accounting systems including all required reports.
Point of contact for inquiries on the financial reporting systems and applications.
Ensure all financial statements are adhering to International Financial Standards Reporting for craft operations.
Liaison with centralized Business Services Center in support of accounting transactions.
Review financial results and summarize and present on business performance.
Construct and collaborate on fiscal year bottoms-up budgets & monthly LE (latest estimates).
Identify key business metrics, prepare ad hoc reports and advice on business solutions.
Troubleshoot spends, track verses budgets and communicate variance gaps to stakeholders.
Cross functional financial support for VP, Pubs, Commercial, Supply and People team.
Identify, report, mitigate and optimize on risks or opportunities the business faces.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred), finance, business or related field.
CPA preferred but not required.
3+ years of accounting and analytical experience providing actionable information to senior management.
Must be knowledgeable in the functionality of ERP (SAP/Obeer) systems and other financial (Toast, Shopify, Docstar) applications and integrations.
Knowledge of FASB standards.
Maintain solid knowledge of accounting laws and regulations on a federal, state, and local
Ability to provide accurate and timely financial reporting around the month-end close.
Must be able to multi-task, delegate and operate in fast pace and changing environments.
Good organizational, analytical, collaborative, and problem-solving skill sets.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Action oriented, self-starter driven to achieve results and exceed expectations.
Ability to navigate through complex environment and simplify workflow and explanations.
Critical thinker with the ability to understand the implications of decisions on the operation.
Proven background in Microsoft Office.

The position involves the execution and management of day-to-day accounting transactions and the financial planning & analysis of the brand. Additionally, this position leads and mentors a team of 3 accounting support employees.
