      We are in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can guide and enhance our programs as we continue to grow and evolve.       Position Details :

      • Location: Home-based (Local MD, DC, VA) (Telework Required)
      • Compensation: Starting at $100,000 (Based on Experience)
      • Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (Some weekends and extended hours may be necessary)
      • Field Work & Travel: 50% Field work, 40% Travel

      Minimum Qualifications :

      • Bachelor’s Degree is required
      • Over 10 years of experience in a nonprofit environment, including 5+ years working with people with developmental disabilities
      • Comprehensive understanding of DDA and CMS HCBS Final Rule
      • Demonstrated leadership abilities, team management experience, and strategic planning skills
      • Strong customer service, critical thinking, adaptability, and conflict resolution capabilities
      • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC’s data systems

      Key Responsibilities :

      • Leadership: Assist EPIC leaders in managing program services and quality improvement, ensuring programs are executed smoothly. Organize team meetings and promote professional development opportunities.
      • Strategic Planning & Management: Collaborate with the CEO to advance the organization’s strategy, aligning with overall objectives.
      • Collaboration & Team Management: Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration while supporting employee success through mentorship and coaching.
      • Program Development: Supervise program development and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations.
      • Financial Oversight: Review financial statements, oversee budgets, and ensure the efficient allocation of resources.
      • Field Work & Travel: Participate in field activities and travel as needed for effective program implementation.
