      The Position:

      Under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef, the Cook supports all activities of the Dining Services Department including the Kitchen and Dining Room. This position is responsible for quality of meals served, quality of service delivery during meal service and for compliance with special diets offered by the Community. It is important to provide the highest quality food preparation, plate presentation and prompt service to all Residents. Performs job duties in accordance with Ohana Pacific Health (OPH) Core Values and Core Behaviors.


      QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

      Education:

      • High school diploma or equivalent; OR combination of education or experience.

      Licensure/ Certifications:

      • Current medical/health screening including 2-step TB clearance.
      • State required Food Handlers Card and/or certification required.
