Job Description

- Prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are always followed.
- Maintain clean and organized food service areas, including the kitchen and dining room.
- Assist with inventory control and kitchen management.
- Collaborate with the Culinary Director and support Culinary Aides when needed.
- Help plan and execute special dining events.
- Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and respect in every interaction.
- Ability to prepare and serve a variety of foods skillfully and safely.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor under pressure and the ability to multitask.
- Experience working with seniors or in long-term care is a plus!
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to read, speak, and write English.
- State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 – Criminal Record Statement
- LIC 503 – Health Screening Report
- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance
- First Aid & CPR Certification (as required by the state)
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be free from non-treated communicable diseases
