- Assist in the development of strategy for marketing to current students, such as website visits, social media interactions, traditional office visits, peer mentoring, participation in student activities, etc.
- Design and produce graphics for promotional and fundraising materials by using creative and technical abilities including the use of computers and desktop publishing techniques.
- Work closely with Student Success and Graduation, Enrollment Management, the UW Foundation, and Enrollment Marketing to ensure streamlined and collaborative efforts.
- Study the objectives, promotional policies, or needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion, lead to donor support, or promote ideas and services.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with student groups, representatives of governmental, community, employee, public interest, and philanthropic groups, and news and other media.
- Provide a website strategy and plan content updates regularly for the external college website while driving internal communications.
- Coordinate special events to promote relations with students, alumni, retirees, donors, and a variety of other stakeholders.
- Provide consultations, guidance, and professional leadership in the development of advisement, recruitment, and retention of programs, initiatives, and strategies for UW Casper academic programs.
- Maintain a network of collaborative relationships with area community colleges and organizations, as well as with University colleagues concerning recruitments, academic advisement, fundraising, and student retention programs, initiatives, and issues.
- Help with front desk coverage when needed including student point of contact, answering phone calls and student assistance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB TITLE:

Job Purpose:
Coordinate marketing/promotional efforts for UW Casper and design and produce graphics for promotional materials. Assist in planning, and implementation of retention functions for UW Casper students, helping to increase retention and graduation. Assist in the design and development of marketing and public relations strategies, and integration of all marketing efforts, including the website, social media presence, publications, advertising pieces, multimedia/video pieces, and communications. Plan and coordinate logistics for special events with internal and external stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience: 1 year work-related experience
