Job Description

- Oversees all clerical functions of the Pastoral Care Department and orders supplies
- Maintains patient’s cards and files
- Manages the implementations and follow through of all special projects of the Pastoral Care Department as requested
- Assures that schedule for Eucharistic Ministers are completed
- Assists the Director of Pastoral Care in making the monthly schedule for the chaplains
- Assists with payment requisitions, accounting and budget planning for the department
- Oversees the daily work flow of the Pastoral Care Department
- Assess the volume of referrals each day and assign/reassigns accordingly
- Maintains accurate patient information concerning admissions, continued stay and discharge
- Coordinates the annual employee and community outreach programs
- Assists Director of Pastoral Care with projects as needed
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience Required
- 1-3 years Previous clerical experience Preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills (High proficiency)
- Ability to be discrete and appreciate the confidential nature of the patient information involved (Medium proficiency)
- Google Suite skills (Medium proficiency)
