OverviewExpected pay for this position is $32.87 - $38.66/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: Through collaboration with cardiac and medical center leadership, is responsible for ensuring high quality services are provided throughout the various programs within the Cardiac Service Line. Responsible to seek national program recognition and/or certification through completion of program development and application as indicated. Moreover, is accountable for fulfilling patient and family education needs as related to program plans. Adherence to fiscal and strategic plans is also inherent in accountabilities.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education Knowledge of cardiovascular clinical specialty through either: o Registered Nurse (RN) o Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R)
• Experience 3-5 years progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain technical competence in cardiac procedures, policies, and practices, and to coordinate program activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Experience 3-5 years of clinical experience usually obtained in a CVICU, CCU or Cardiac Cath Lab Licensure/Certifications
• Performance Improvement Training Other skills/knowledge
• Analytical skills necessary in order to coordinate operations, effectively develop and administer departmental policies and budgets, and to respond effectively to administrative, technical and employee relations problems.
