- Identify client needs and create customized hotel RFPs.
- Negotiate hotel rates and amenities to secure favorable terms.
- Evaluate and process hotel contracts.
- Track hotel bookings and commissions to ensure proper documentation.
- Manage hotel bookings for assigned collegiate accounts while also supporting teammates with their accounts as needed.
- Provide support to the team with football related hotel bookings.
- Maintain and update daily work in Excel to provide up-to-date tracking.
- Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with hotel vendors.
- Promote and contribute input to Anthony Travel Preferred Hotel Program.
- Complete other projects and tasks as assigned.
- Deep and personal commitment to the Core Values of On Location.
- Previous negotiating and sales experience required. Familiarity with negotiating and executing hotel contracts desired.
- Bachelor’s degree or two plus years of related business, sales and/or hotel management experience preferred.
- Strong client-service and vendor management orientation along with solid interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to negotiate hotel contract terms and understand hotel revenue management.
- Ability to work under pressure and have a high attention to detail.
- Flexibility to deal with and adapt to many changes.
- Ability to manage many tasks at the same time.
- Ability to perform situation analysis and make decisions.
- Demonstrates positive, motivated attitude.
- Microsoft product knowledge, with a high level of experience within Excel, Teams, & Outlook.
- Familiarity with Meeting Evolution or similar sourcing platforms a plus
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

The Collegiate Team Hotel Coordinator position is primarily responsible for supporting sales and operation efforts related to Anthony Travel’s Collegiate Team Hotel program. The department manages the hotel needs for 29 off-site athletic department travel clients while supporting Anthony Travel’s account managers located on-site at 80 university athletic departments.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in multi-tasking, managing a variety of tasks and projects, anticipating client needs, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS
Travel: Work schedule will typically be from nine to six pm EST, five days a week. Additional hours and weekends will be required during peak event times.
