Pay rate: $19 - $25 per hour
The mission of the St. Luke’s Cornwall Health System Foundation is to articulate the critical role of private and corporate philanthropy to the hospital and the vast opportunities for support throughout our health system. The Foundation is charged with maximizing financial gift support to the hospital by seeking private and corporate contributions in order to increase support of hospital programs and projects. The Foundation Coordinator works with the Executive Director of Foundation to meet departmental goals. The position will be responsible for (but not limited to): Foundation office management and board support; assistance with donor and prospect tracking, research, and analysis; database administration and donor stewardship; financial recordkeeping; and assistance with special events and activities.
Education/Training: Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in fund development; healthcare environment preferred. Knowledge of philanthropic environment of Mid-Hudson region preferred. Excellent writing and computer skills. Knowledge of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge fund raising database experience preferred. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies internally and externally.
Licensure, Registration or Certification: Valid Driver’s License
