      What will your typical day look like?

      The Group Travel Coordinator will facilitate the day-to-day operations with respect to travel arrangements for learning programs associated with Deloitte University North.

      • Capture travel requests for assigned programs, and continually monitor registration for new requests or cancellations.
      • Contact participants with proposed travel options based on program requirements.
      • Coordinate air and rail travel booking, following internal policies, and existing vendor relationships.
      • Advise on the purchase of flight passes, managing the inventory of credits.
      • Purchase, management, and distribution of ground transfer vouchers.
      • Send confirmation emails to each participant with issued tickets and itineraries.
      • Manage travel deviation approval process, engaging 3rd party travel agency as needed.
      • Maintain detailed travel manifests and other post-program reports, files, and invoices for internal reconciliation.
      • Monitor departures, flight cancellations and any disruptions that may require participant’s immediate attention.
      • Forecast programming and expected travel patterns to proactively manage upcoming travel requirements.
      • Mailbox management – respond to all-travel related questions from participants.
      • Support both our leisure and business travel programs.
      • Administrative duties as required.

      About the team

      Deloitte seeks a Group Travel Coordinator with proven experience in group travel ideally in a corporate setting. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Deloitte University North team to help deliver exceptional learning experience to our people.

      Qualifications:
      • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in business travel services.
      • Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
      • Outstanding customer-service skills, with strong capability to interact with a diverse team of people in a fast-paced work environment.
      • Proven ability to juggle multiple programs simultaneously while managing rapidly changing priorities and peak periods.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite and prior experience with Concur.
      • Cvent knowledge is an asset.

      Requirements:
      • Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule which will change every 3 weeks (8:00am-4:30pm; 10:00am-6:30pm; 11:30am-8:00pm EST)
      • Flexibility to work overtime if needed.
      *Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position.
