      The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day customer services activities including responding to customer inquiries regarding all aspects of the Benefits department via email, phone, and in person.

      • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of benefit programs, plans, policies, and processes.
      • Respond to benefits inquiries via email, phone and in person.
      • Serve as primary contact for information and training for employees during open enrollment events, new hire orientations, wellness programs and initiatives, and initialization season.
      • Work alongside the benefits team and benefits administrator to ensure timely federal and state reporting.
      • Develop coordinated collateral communications such as guides, FAQs, flyers, and topical presentations and videos.
      • Responsible for the coordination and administration of assigned departmental functions such as bereavement leave, QMSCO, and appeals, including maintaining trackers and reporting.
      • Responsible for the development and execution of assigned marketing benefit campaigns; This includes contributing ideas, analyzing trends, and monitoring performance.
      • Deliver graphic, written, and verbal presentations and reports of findings. Assist in creating and updating content on multiple platforms, including website, social media accounts, blogs, and emails.
      • Develop marketing content using current design technology.
      • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools or designee.
      • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a directly related field in HR, Business or Finance.
      • Certified Benefits Professional preferred.
      • Minimum of 3-5 years of benefit related experience. Comprehensive knowledge of health and welfare plan design and administration.
      • Experience with benefits-related PR or marketing campaigns.
      • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
      • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
      • Experience with HR systems preferred.
      • Advanced computer skills and analytical skills.
      • Experience with communications, marketing, public relations and project plans preferred.
