Job Description

- Ensure all required documentation for hires are in the employee files and easily retrieved for audit purposes (resumes, signed job descriptions, educational qualifications, etc.)
- Prepare packages for new employee orientation and present key information to employees
- Prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate Orientation sessions for new employees
- Act as the point of contact for all employee inquiries during initial onboarding
- Manage paper files for all employees, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and current
- Partner with managers to support updates for job descriptions, ensuring they are current and filed appropriately
- Coordinate Talent Acquisition for the internal, hourly recruitment program
- Manage electronic files for all employees, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and current
- Submit required change requests through HR central and the ECN tool
- Track employee step progression timeline and back-up assignments
- Produce reports from the HRIS system for different collaborators
- Coordinate and implement the monthly service awards program
- Prepare employment verification letters for employees upon request
- Meet with employees to arrange leaves or retirements for birthing parents and non-birthing parents
- Respond to employee enquiries promptly, and advance as necessary, liaising with Centers of Excellence as needed
- University Degree, College diploma or equivalent experience in Human Resources
- HRIS systems experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel
- Strong presentation skills
- Success working in a high volume, customer-focused role
- HR experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Employee relations experience

Who We Are:
We are looking for an HR Coordinator to Manage HR data, assist with onboarding, and support employee programs at Alliston facility. This position manages initiatives related to organization and management team effectiveness and organization design. This position will also drive the common execution and implementation of HR processes across the function.
