What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the IRB meeting preparation and coordination, including reviewing submissions for readiness
- Conduct pre-reviews of informed consent forms to ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with Board members and staff to incorporate necessary edits into consent forms
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to Human Subject Protections
- Offer process improvement suggestions to management and assist with additional duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of IRB or clinical research experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of experience with an associate’s degree
- Proficient in MS Word and Outlook
- Basic understanding of Federal laws and guidelines for Human Subjects Research Protection
- Clear and professional communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and prioritize tasks efficiently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and remote meeting applications such as Zoom
- Confidence in public speaking and a high level of professionalism
- Ability to edit technical and medical documents and convert complex information into lay terms
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and efficiency
- Proven capability to produce focused and accurate work under time constraints
