      We are currently hiring for the position of:


      COORDINATOR, INDUSTRY RELATIONS


      Reporting to the Senior Manager, Industry Sales + Services, the Coordinator, Industry Relations will be responsible for organizing Festival access for professionals representing films in Official Selection at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. This will include the administration of accreditation for a film’s producers and sales agents as well as the negotiation and organization of ticket requests from the film’s primary rights holders for sales and promotional purposes.


      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Act as primary contact for sales agents and producers representing Official Selection titles and assist with inquiries relating to Festival access and resources.

      • Manage relationships with international and domestic stakeholders, including high-profile clients and companies, to ensure a smooth Festival experience.

      • Coordinate complimentary accreditation assignments for a portfolio of stakeholders representing films in Official Selection.

      • Liaise with the Industry Services team to provide data and produce complimentary passes for assigned portfolios of stakeholders.

      • Support the negotiation of ticket requests in collaboration with Senior Manager and Senior Director.

      • Collect and log ticket requests for sales agents, producers, distributors, and streamers

      • Maintain precise knowledge of requests per film, per stakeholder

      • Assist in the collection of territory rights availability for films in Official Selection

      • Coordinate with internal production teams to ensure agreed upon stakeholder tickets are available prior to the start of Festival.

      • Organize the distribution of Press & Industry Screening reports for a portfolio of stakeholders.

      • Provide high-level customer service over email and phone

      • Maintain shared protocol ticketing communications inbox

      • Attend weekly team meetings and contribute as needed in regards to individual tasks/portfolio

      • Welcome and greet professionals at the Protocol Office during the Festival, providing information and direction to stakeholders where necessary

      • Provide a detailed post-mortem


      JOB GRADE & SALARY:

      • Job Grade 1

      • $22-$24 per hour


      TARGET CONTRACT DATES:

      • July 8 - September 15


      WORK LOCATION:

      • Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5

      • Weekly in-office requirements:

        • Minimum 3 days (June to October)

      • Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival


      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

      • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.

      • Ability to work closely with clients and high-level partners to address sensitive issues and ensure quality experiences.

      • Strong client building skills

      • Experience dealing with domestic and international clientele

      • Organize and ensure successful delivery against project scope, schedule, budget and quality of deliverables

      • Successfully balance the dual goals and expectations of clients and the organization

      • Provide clear direction and establish expectations for internal cross-functional teams and direct reports

      • Expert administrative and organizational skills required

      • Ability to multitask

      • Work under pressure due to tight deadlines and multiple project deliverables/demands

      • Expert with Microsoft Suite and Google Docs
