      Overview

      POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

      The Inventory Control & PnE Order Coordinator is responsible for both inventory control related functions and processing inter-company orders. Individual will be coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining all inventory control related activities within the Los Angeles Distribution Center and assigned Sales Centers to ensure all operational processes and procedures are followed and are within compliance standards. This includes processing Employee Purchase and Promotional and Entertainment (P&E) orders domestically, to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time. In addition, this position provides back-up support to other department administrative functions and various inventory control related functions as assigned by management. This role requires flexibility with work schedule and the ability to work overtime, some weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

      DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

      • Assist with coordinating and overseeing the daily cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy is within the established standards. Analyze and reconcile all variances reported and produce respective cycle count reports in accordance with the department standard procedure.
      • Assist with performing random inventory audits as an additional tool to ensure all inventory is accounted for, and related activities and practices are being followed in accordance with all established procedures. This includes supporting physical inventory conducted for the Los Angeles Distribution and assigned Sales Centers.
      • Analyze and reconcile all variances reported and perform necessary inventory adjustment as needed, to ensure inventory accuracy. This includes all Sales Order related issues to ensure complete inventory process flow from end to end.
      • Identify any procedural/process trends that negatively impact inventory accuracy and employee/P&E orders and communicate accordingly so proper action can be taken. Work closely with management and GTS team to resolve any issues and application enhancements.
      • Monitor, maintain, and update all related and departmental reports to ensure inventory management system database, reports and information distributed are accurate.
      • Assist with producing and reviewing inventory to check date-sensitive products for expiration, facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed, and ensure lot control products are shipped or pulled in accordance with company policy and established procedure.
      • Process required inventory adjustments and transactions as required which includes adjustment of all manual P&E orders shipped. All transactions should be handled following established procedures.
      • Provide full inventory support to sale centers as assigned or requested to ensure inventory accuracy. Process Resupply Order Pick Release as order shipment is received. This includes coordinating shipment for product to be returned to the Los Angeles Distribution Center.
      • Monitor, review, plan and create order for warehouse supplies to ensure sufficient stock is available for daily pickline operational use.
      • Process all P&E and Employee Purchase received, ensure all orders submitted are accurately filled out with required information, manage orders in accordance with the set company policy and procedure, and establish daily cut off times to ensure timely delivery. Inform requestors if any items are on back order and/or communicate possible delays with an order.
      • Monitor the outstanding P&E and employee purchase reports to ensure all open orders are current, pending shipping. Research any questionable open order and process accordingly.
      • Collect and log all P&E Orders for events and send shipment tracking information to corresponding departments
      • Prepare monthly P&E/Employee Purchase reports and forward them to the appropriate management group.
      • Coordinate with Assembly Department P&E orders which requires kitting.
      • Prepare and distribute weekly payroll deduction report for Employee purchases
      • Perform other duties as assigned by the department management team
      • Travel to other Herbalife distribution center locations when necessary to assist with any inventory related function
      • Responsible to report any safety hazards, property damage, unsafe working conditions or suspicious activities/people to management, security, or safety committee member
      • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area keeping a constant watch for any safety issues
      • Perform other duties as assigned

      Job Qualifications

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      Skills:

      • Proficient computer office skills (i.e., MSExcel, MSWord and Email)
      • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
      • Excellent initiative, organizational and problem-solving skills
      • Read, write, and understand English with good oral and written communication skills
      • Strong customer service, organizational, and follow-up skills, with ability to function as an affective team member and interact effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as work well in a moderately stressful environment
      • Ability to carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
      • Clean, neat, organized and alert

      Experience:

      • 4 years’ experience in warehousing with extensive knowledge of warehousing operations as it relates to Inventory Control functions
      • 2 years’ customer service experience
      • Knowledge and experience with Inventory and Order Management Systems
      • Knowledge in order processing experience

      Education:

      • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
