Purpose Responsible for providing support for the Receiving department. Processing material receivables paperwork to Corporate. Must maintain paperwork, department files and completes tasks assigned by department manager. To ensure the safety and quality of the products that the line produces.
Essential Functions- Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability to perform the following duties.
· Calculates daily flour and oil usage per tank and silo with vendor and Corporate Purchasing. Tracks and monitors all orders on a daily; sometimes hourly basis. Maintains files and contract balances. Creates and maintains related reports to management on a regular basis.
· Coordinates availability of silos and tanks with management for necessary cleaning and maintenance.
· Takes after-hour calls from Nissin and vendors regarding issues with flour and oil deliveries.
· Updates management on changes with tests, blends and when they will be occurring within production.
· Provides updates on status of imported materials to management and other department personnel.
· Responsible for collecting all Receiving paperwork received in NAV and scanned into workflow; attaching invoice and forwarding to Corporate for processing.
· Tracks and monitors orders for raw materials which include: oil and flour.
· Works with Quality Control department regarding defective raw materials and arranges return to vendors (with Corporate).
· Assists with monthly inventory.
· Assists with annual fiscal audit, compiles paperwork, verifies inventory counts and etc.
· Schedules appointments for Receiving and Soup Plant.
· Serves as back-up for Purchasing Asst. Manager with Production Schedule, calls and production issues.
· Files and maintains all records related to receiving items/miscellaneous items.
· Follows up with Corporate Accounting regarding urgent payment requests.
· Places orders and processes miscellaneous invoices for other supporting departments. Calculates sales use tax and forwards all copies of invoices and sales tax data to corporate Accounting.
· Answers and transfers incoming phone calls. Needs to know who receives what type of call from vendors, Corporate, Lancaster Plant, trucking companies, etc.
· Gives directions to drivers calling.
· Communicates with carriers.
· Creates bill of lading, FedEx and UPS paperwork – outgoing (when needed).
· Other tasks and duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience: One-year certificate from college or tech school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills: Must be proficient in programs as Word, Excel and other applicable computer software.
Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to apply common sense to understanding and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must have the ability to resolve and deal with simple problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations within the production processing operation.
