      Position Overview: The Marketing Automation Coordinator (Growth) will assist the Marketing & Automation Manager in the creation and execution of campaigns supporting initiatives within the marketing department and across the business. Specifically, this role will assist with commercial & service email marketing, mobile (text/app alerts, etc.) and paid digital media platforms, with a heavy focus on applying data and analytics to drive ticket revenue. This role will help identify and build audience segments to be applied to email and paid digital advertising campaigns, helping drive efficiency in media spend, maximize revenue, and create a personalized digital relationship between the Atlanta Braves and our fans.

      Marketing Department Overview: The Marketing Department acts as an internal agency, working collaboratively with all departments (including Ticket Sales, Membership Services, Premium Sales, Community Affairs, Corporate Partnerships, Meetings & Events, etc.) to help them achieve their goals through various marketing initiatives and campaigns. In addition, the Marketing Department develops engaging content and promotional opportunities for fans to drive a deeper level of fandom and loyalty to our team.

      Major responsibilities:

      • Coordinate the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns focused on driving new revenue through automation and personalization, with a heavy emphasis on driving single game ticket sales. Other departments supported will include, but are not limited to: New Ticket Initiatives, A-List Season Ticket Waitlist, Kids Club, and Retail
      • Utilize the consumer data platform to identify and develop new audiences for marketing campaigns and targeted sales initiatives
      • Collaborate with new ticket initiatives and ticket operations for the creation of offers & promotions to identified audiences
      • Assist in bi-weekly & monthly reporting to determine campaign effectiveness and drive insights for future initiatives
      • Manage trafficking of assets to paid digital media vendors and MLB Performance Media Team
      • Assist in management of the company-wide email calendar in Salesforce
      • Actively participate in weekly marketing meetings and brainstorming sessions related to proposed marketing projects
      • Assist with Atlanta Braves Kids Club initiatives including strategic planning, programming, and communication
      • Willingness to work nights and weekends during the baseball season as needed

      Qualifications:

      • College degree with an emphasis on Business, Marketing, Advertising, Management Information Systems, Statistics and/or Sports Management
      • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, think creatively, analyze data, and problem solve
      • 1-3 years relevant experience in email marketing, paid digital marketing and/or CRM
      • Must complete a successful background check

      Preferred qualifications:

      • Strong understanding of paid digital marketing platforms including Facebook/Instagram and the Google Advertising ecosystem. Ability to understand and recommend optimizations to campaign performance.
      • Comfortability working with data to drive decisions in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
      • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, LOOKUP functions, basic data visualization, and proper data formatting.
      • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform or other Customer Data Platforms a plus
      • Baseline knowledge or willingness to be trained on:
        • SQL, R, or other database languages
        • Tableau or other data visualization tools
        • CRM systems
      • Must be a team-first player who works well with others. Collaboration will be a key to success in this role
      • Must be detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Must possess natural curiosity and ambition to aid in moving the business forward.
