      Responsibilities

      The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing initiatives related to hospital communications, marketing, website development, public relations, social media strategy, physician relations and business development. The coordinator is also responsible for community relations and ensuring the hospital is well positioned in the community.

      Qualifications

      EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

      1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, journalism, English or related field. Three years directly related work experience, preferably in a health care setting.

      2. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

      3. Must be able to function with minimal direction and supervision.

      4. Public speaking experience in both large and small groups, preferred.

      5. Good interpersonal skills, writing, spelling, telephone etiquette, and sensitive interface with general public and employees.

      6. Computer literacy with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.

      7. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, social media, WordPress, and website content management systems preferred.
