Job Description

- Conduct interactive processes and review accommodation requests in compliance with ADA guidelines.
- Manage and ensure delivery of reasonable accommodations, including alternate formats (electronic, audio, braille, large-print).
- Provide academic support by monitoring student progress and offering guidance.
- Oversee the selection, upgrade, and implementation of assistive technology.
- Recommend purchases and provide training to students on technology use.
- Partner with faculty, campus departments, and external organizations to enhance student support.
- Present information effectively through workshops or outreach events.
- Travel between campuses to maintain equitable access to services.
- Manage confidential student records in a secure, accessible system.
- Demonstrate independent problem-solving and teamwork in complex situations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• Bachelor's degree in special education, social sciences, psychology, rehabilitation, or a related field, or three years of equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of disabilities, assistive technology, and experience in higher education
• Familiarity with Section 504, ADA (1990, Amended 2010), and relevant laws
• Experience assessing disability documentation and determining accommodations
• Excellent teamwork, communication, organization, and computer skills, including assistive technology applications
• Passion for working with individuals with disabilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

**Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion.
