      The Coordinator, Trade Marketing supports the Director across a range of commodities, including Ready-To-Wear, Accessories, Cosmetics, and our Leased businesses. The candidate will be involved in various areas of the marketing division, including vendor programs (owned and paid), merchant priority programs, digital and visual promotion, and experiential marketing (events/pop-ups). They will be essential in helping to achieve the divisional targets by programming, briefing, facilitating approvals, collecting and reporting on programs post-mortem, and assisting with budget management.

      As part of the Trade Marketing team, the individual in this role will work cross-functionally with different areas of the business including marketing, creative, merchants, and store teams to ensure that all aspects of trade marketing programs are delivered and executed with excellence.

      Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

      • Support the Trade Marketing team in preparing and submitting marketing briefs for program activations including digital, website, organic social, paid media, email, visual, and CRM programs
      • Work directly with vendors & merchants for program approvals – always ensuring that Holts POV is prioritized
      • Manage work-back schedules with cross-functional teams, such as Creative, Paid Media, Visual, Legal, Stores, etc. to ensure timely execution of programs to support new arrivals, programs, and launches
      • Partner with cross-functional teams including CRM, Brand Marketing, Merchants, Email, and Social to gather post-mortem results and present insights around sales performance, social stats, and interactions
      • Make day-to-day decisions on how to administer and communicate programs within the established framework of existing programs while suggesting updates to programs, troubleshooting, and implementing enhancements in collaboration with the creative team and/or vendor with major changes being approved by the Director
      • Manage timely communication of programs to relevant internal teams and vendor partners
      • Develop product reference decks, which are utilized by E-commerce, and communicate with Merchants regarding product deliveries to support digital editorials/look books and campaigns
      • Partner with key stakeholders (Merchants, Stores, Planning, Legal, IT, Marketing, Visual, etc.) to understand and develop new promotion opportunities as well as target CRM initiatives to help design and execute data-driven campaigns intended to acquire, retain, and reactivate customers
      • Manage email and website calendar inputs by tracking weekly/monthly/seasonal priorities from Merchants to ensure programs match in-season
      • Drive the achievement of COOP and expense goals by working with the Trade Marketing Directors & Specialists to maximize vendor COOP investments and partner with internal teams (Media, Visual, Stores) to maximize program budgets while optimizing expenses
      • Make recommendations on program enhancements and packages within budget parameters
      • Manage the preparation, processing, and sending of all COOP agreements and expense invoices in a timely manner so to ensure monthly forecast is met
      • Update the budget lead continuously regarding COOP and expense collection and submission in preparation for the monthly recap to the DVP and Finance team

      The ideal candidate is a hard-working self-starter and team player with experience working cross-functionally on multiple projects. They are results-focused and detail-oriented, have excellent time management skills, and flourish in a busy environment with strict deadlines. Additional requirements include:

      • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, commerce or related discipline.
      • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in project management, events or marketing
      • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment with meticulous detail
      • Strong communication skills to ensure accurate information is captured on all program documents/trackers and is cascaded to the appropriate internal/external teams
      • Exceptional organization and time management skills
      • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
      • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
