Analyze and assess communication needs and make editorial choices aligned with communication objectives.
Write informational and promotional content in English for various platforms (digital or print): SEO blog articles, newsletters, personalized communications, social media posts, tutorials, etc.
Tailor promotional content to different distribution networks or target audiences.
Translate and adapt French advertising content into English, maintaining the original intent, voice, and tone of the brand.
Edit or revise existing content.
Ensure content consistency to enhance Desjardins’ image, educational mission, and cooperative nature.
Conduct research and interviews with finance or insurance experts to write advice articles and educational content on complex topics.
Embrace the brand’s ecosystem, tone, and personality.
Apply best practices in organic search (SEO).
Act as a consultant to a network of collaborators and represent your area of expertise.
Stay up to date on content marketing trends and best practices.
Ensure quality deliverables from brief to delivery.
Collaborate with the creative team to generate ideas and solutions.

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience in English-language copywriting, content marketing writing or content strategy
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Advanced experience in B2B and B2C writing
Advanced experience incorporating SEO elements in copy
Experience in adapting or translating content from French to English
Expert proficiency of French and English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English and French-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Advanced knowledge of the marketing and sales funnel
Temporary position for 13 months.
As a content copywriter, you will help highlight projects and promote targeted national marketing campaigns by designing and developing advertising and content communications for members, clients. You will help implement and promote the organization’s brand image by incorporating its tone and voice into your communications. You will act as a consultant, support resource, and content expert for your team and collaborators on various major creative projects involving personalized communications, social media, and SEO articles. The nature of the work requires extensive knowledge in your field. You’re comfortable with change and enjoy proposing improvements to processes and workflows. You’ll frequently collaborate and interact with stakeholders in similar or complementary areas of expertise. A team player, you maintain strong relationships with colleagues and collaborators. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. More specifically, you will be required to:
