      About the Role

      Banana Republic is seeking a seasoned copywriter to help shape and evolve our omnichannel brand storytelling across campaigns, email, social, video, paid media, promotions, and events. The ideal candidate brings sharp editorial instincts, original ideas, and a talent for writing concise, evocative copy that reflects our distinctive tone and forward-thinking perspective. This full-time role reports to the Director of Editorial & Copy.

      What You'll Do

      · Craft compelling copy across a variety of channels, balancing high-level concepting with strong execution—from headlines to long-form narratives.

      · Collaborate closely with cross-functional creative and communications partners to ensure messaging aligns with business goals and channel strategies.

      · Maintain and elevate editorial standards, ensuring copy is consistent with brand voice and style guidelines.

      · Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging language.

      · Self-edit with precision and respond thoughtfully to feedback to continuously refine the work.

      · Contribute to a diverse range of projects.

      Who You Are

      · An experienced copywriter with a background in retail and/or lifestyle brands.

      · A strategic thinker who understands the nuances of content strategy, editorial storytelling, and social trends.

      · Equally comfortable developing big-picture concepts and diving into detailed copyediting.

      · A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects with clarity and creativity.

      · Passionate about language, ideas, and the evolving nature of brand storytelling.
