  About the job

  Indigo Slate is seeking a Copywriter to join an in-house creative team supporting our client, a leading software company with their Marketing Initiatives. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including art directors, designers, strategists, project managers and other copywriters to ensure our clients marketing and advertising is not only brand consistent, but also their message is clear, concise and appealing. Your goal will be to create impactful copy that captures our company and client’s visions.

  • We are only considering candidates who are readily available.
  • You must be based in London and able to travel to office 2-3 times per week as required.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred (English plus another European language).

  The role

  You will actively contribute to Indigo Slate’s success by:

  • Assembling packages of creative assets based on provided direction with organization and diligence.
  • Be able to highlight solid writing skills and a knowledge of the digital landscape
  • Be grammatically competent, literate and have a prominent level of attention to detail
  • Have a love for words but appreciate brevity.
  • Finding the right word or phrase to make things pop
  • Have an ability to boil down complex briefs into compelling ideas
  • Deliver a point of view about your work
  • Understanding and ensuring alignment with client brand standards.
  • Effectively communicating and collaborating with team members across all levels.
  • Having a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and precision in design work quality.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work independently when necessary and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to ask for help from your peers and the team when you need it and to be proactive sharing feedback on how we can all do better.

  Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in campaign/concept advertising work (more than just SEO or content writing - we will look at your portfolios to see your work in action)
  • Have worked in the B2B technology space
  • Proven ability to create copy for a variety of audiences, brands, and industries
  • Experience in a range of digital platforms from social to online video campaigns
  • Working with Microsoft in an agency setting a plus
