- Interpret creative briefs
- Develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the art director
- Present ideas to colleagues and clients
- Have a clear understanding of digital process and innovations in technology
- Familiarize with clients’ products/services, target audience and their competitors’ activities;
- Write clear, persuasive and original copy
- Ensure that all products are proofed and ready for delivery or posting
- Revise or redevelop ads or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients;
- Oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion
- Work on several campaigns when required, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines
- Keep up to date with popular culture and trends
- Prepare files and concept boards for client review and presentation
- Ability to write good, clear copy in a variety of styles with accurate spelling and grammar
- Ability to write advertising copy that is original and impactful that meets the clients’ briefs
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy and highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Conceptualizing and realizing ideas through their comprehensive use of language and the written word. The have the ability to think in a holistic way about how an idea comes to life through all creative channels of a consumer experience. The Senior Copywriter develops narrative spaces, language and copy in short form, copy-shots and long form to establish the tonality of ideas. They mentor the copywriter team members and encourage learning and synthesis across the writing team
Role Purpose:
Work alongside with an art director within the creative department to conceive, develop and produce verbal or textual content for advertisements, which includes creating slogans, catchphrases, messages and straplines for printed adverts and leaflets, writing text for web advertising, as well as scripts for radio jingles and TV commercials.
