  Tombras, an independent, 475+ person, national full-service advertising agency is searching for a Copywriter to join our Sonic Automotive team.

  
  

  Location: Knoxville, TN (onsite)

  
  

  The Sonic Automotive team at Tombras functions like a small, nimble agency within the larger agency. We have almost all advertising functions on our team including Account Service, Social Media Managers, Paid Social Media Planners and Buyers, Analytics, and a creative team that includes a Director of Photography, 3 video editors, and 2 graphic designers. We handle all organic creative, posting and community management for over 300 social media accounts and plan and place all paid social media campaigns. We’re a very collaborative team that serves as the Social Media and Creative Agency of Record for Sonic Automotive.

  What you'll be doing:

  • Develop unique creative messaging for each Sonic Retail location
  • Create engaging social media copy for organic and paid campaigns
  • Collaborate with other creative team members to develop creative campaigns for Sonic corporate
  • Proof and approve organic social media posts created by our Social Media Managers
  • Develop strategies that help meet Sonic’s business goals
  • Work with analytics and paid social media to continually improve ad copy effectiveness
  • Write scripts for talent to perform during content shoots
  • Develop strategies for Special Project Messaging for Corporate priorities

  
  

  What you bring:

  • The energy, passion, and imagination to drive us forward
  • 1-2 years experience writing copy for social media
  • Experience collaborating with others to develop overarching creative campaigns
  • The ability to adjust to reprioritized work deadlines
