What will you be doing?

Barclays Services LLC seeks Core Application Developer in Wilmington, DE (multiple positions available):

• Support Risk, Finance, and treasury (“RFT”) IT initiatives driven by RFT business and regulatory needs, including the design, development and implementation of new technology solutions as well as continuous improvement efforts in the RFT business and IT areas, specifically the PeopleSoft application
• End to End delivery of the RFT IT initiatives and will help customers and the business to achieve objectives
• Develop, set up, and troubleshoot the PeopleSoft & Appian applications
• Gather and document technology requirements to develop software applications supporting critical business area
• Upgrade RFT applications and apply Oracle patches and fixes
• Plan, design and manage technology development using People Tools 8.56 and above, People Code, SQR, Application Engine, Workflow, Web services, SQL, Integration broker and Other PeopleSoft related tools
• Work on PL/SQL and Ab-initio platform
• Write and perform integration test cases for various technology features and perform integration testing
• Resolve issues and communicate technology risks with software applications to business and technology stake holders
• Support day to day incident and problem management tickets to address production application defects
• May Telecommute

What we’re looking for:

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation

You will be working at our Wilmington, Delaware location at 125 S. West Street. Barclays' Wilmington campus includes two beautiful buildings located along the historic Wilmington, DE Riverfront. A glance out our windows reveal a scenic look at the Christiana River, along with a growing riverfront community of luxury apartments, shops, and restaurants. Additionally, the Wilmington train station is a short walk away making travel from New York and Washington, DC convenient.
