      Job Description: Core Banking Data Migration Specialist
      Position Overview:
      We are seeking an experienced Core Banking Data Migration Specialist to join our team. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will
      be responsible for overseeing the successful migration of data from legacy systems to a chosen SaaS core banking platform. You
      will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data requirements, and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness
      of the migrated data. This role requires deep knowledge of core banking systems, data mapping, transformation, and migration
      strategies.
      Responsibilities:
      1. Data Migration Strategy: Develop and execute the data migration strategy for transitioning from legacy systems to
      the core banking platform. Define data migration plans, timelines, and dependencies.
      2. Data Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements, mapping, and
      transformation rules. Analyze data quality, consistency, and integrity in legacy systems and develop strategies to
      address any data issues.
      3. Data Mapping and Transformation: Design and implement data mapping and transformation processes to ensure
      accurate and complete data migration. Develop scripts and tools to automate data extraction, transformation, and
      loading tasks.
      4. Data Cleansing and Validation: Identify and cleanse inconsistent, redundant, or incomplete data to ensure data
      integrity and quality in the core banking system. Develop data validation scripts and perform data reconciliation to
      verify the accuracy of the migrated data.
      5. Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies, standards, and regulatory requirements during
      the data migration process. Collaborate with data governance teams to define data quality metrics and establish data
      validation rules.
      6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts,
      developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to coordinate data migration activities. Provide regular
      updates on progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
      7. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation, including data migration plans, data mapping
      documents, and data transformation rules. Provide training and support to end-users on data migration processes
      and tools.
      Qualifications:

      - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
      - Minimum of 8 years of experience in data migration with core banking systems.
      - Strong knowledge of core banking systems, banking processes, and data models.
      - Proficiency in data mapping, data transformation, and data migration processes.
      - Experience with data migration tools and technologies, such as SQL, ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend),
      and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
      - Familiarity with data quality and data governance principles and practices.
      - Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL queries, and data migration best practices.
      - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data migration issues.
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and
      stakeholders.
      - Experience with core banking data migration projects and knowledge of industry-standard data formats
      (e.g., ISO 20022) is a plus.
