      $55,577.60/yr minimum - $83,387.20/yr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

      Responsibilities

      Role Specific Responsibilities

      • Coordinates policies and procedures related to accreditation and licensure ensuring integration across SIH and SIMS Medical Group.
      • Assist VP/CQO, SR VP/CMO and VP Legal to identify, create and update policies/procedures for the purpose of meeting legal, regulatory, accreditation requirements and keeping SIH leaders and medical staff updated on recent changes.
      • Develops policies in compliance with quality, patient safety and regulatory requirements.
      • Identifies duplication and redundancy of policies/procedures and actively works to reduce the number of active policies/procedures.
      • Integrates and aligns policy/procedures as appropriate across the system.
      • Leads facility specific teams as needed.
      • Manages and maintains the policy/procedure software program.
      • Recommends policy and process guidelines that ensure alignment with SIH and SIMS guidelines and nationally accepted regulatory standards.
      • Responds to questions from SIH leaders and medical staff and communicates both verbally and in writing details about policy requirements and guidelines.
      • Provides policy/procedure education and training to for all clinical and administrative staff system wide.
      • Active member of the SIH Risk Team.

      Qualifications

      Education

      • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field

      Licenses and Certification

      • RN preferred
      • CPHRM preferred

      Experience and Skills

      • Technical Experience: 5 years in healthcare industry experience required
      • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
