- Assist the Controller to implement and maintain systems, procedures, and policies directly relating to all functions within accounting to ensure adherence to company, GAAP, and tax guidelines
- Review, analyze and ensure the accuracy of the business unit financials each month; Verify all cash receipts and wire transfers are recorded and supported properly and investigate and correct discrepancies
- Responsible for continuous process improvement within Corporate and the Community Development business line; analyze options for improved operations and processes
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against Analyze variances to ensure all transactions are coded correctly and accurately.
- Oversee general ledger accounts, including review of journal entries and detailed monthly review and analysis of reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Responsible for yearend audits including preparation of schedules and documentation while working closely with 3rd parties
- Responsible for working with Corporate and Communities Business line leaders to prepare the annual budget
- Maintain fixed assets depreciation software for the Corporation
- Demonstrate discretion and use independent judgement when acting as liaison between company, governmental, external accountants, and insurance companies to meet informational needs necessary to make critical business decisions
- Maintain historical financial data ensuring it is readily available upon request

Four-year degree in Accounting required

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience required

HHHunt is committed to offering competitive pay. The annual base salary for this position starts at $60,000 and may increase depending on skills and experience.
