      (Job Summary)

      Turnberry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Accounting Manager to lead the financial reporting process for its corporate properties and affiliated entities. This role is responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial statements while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and robust internal controls.

      The ideal candidate brings a high level of precision, thrives in a dynamic environment, and values collaboration across teams to drive financial excellence.

      A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.


      What You Do:

      (Duties/Responsibilities)

      • Oversee the preparation and review of general ledger entries and consolidations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to GAAP and internal policies.
      • Supervise the Staff Accountant in managing daily cash operations, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
      • Review and update recurring journal entries periodically to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and accounting standards.
      • Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.
      • Conduct in-depth account analyses and prepare budget-to-actual variance reports to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
      • Compile, review, and distribute timely and comprehensive monthly financial reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
      • Monitor compliance with debt covenants, ensuring timely reporting and maintaining detailed reconciliation workbooks for multiple legal entities.
      • Support the annual budgeting process by preparing cash flow statements, financial models, forecasts, and variance analysis in collaboration with department leaders.
      • Assist with year-end financial audits, and other internal or external audits, ensuring prompt and thorough responses to inquiries.
      • Lead the continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, with a focus on efficiency and risk mitigation.
      • Leverage deep expertise in Yardi accounting software to streamline financial operations and enhance reporting capabilities.

      What You Bring to the Table:

      (Requirements)

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with CPA Certification required.
      • A minimum of 4 years of public accounting experience required, ideally within the real estate sector.
      • Experience at a Big Four accounting firm preferred
      • Proficiency in Yardi accounting software is preferred
      • Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
      • Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting financial data and making informed decisions.
      • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of working independently and taking initiative.
      • Experience with financial consolidations is highly regarded.
      • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and proficiency with integrated accounting and spreadsheet software.
      • Detail-oriented approach, emphasizing accuracy in all financial documentation.
      • Excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating with various departments and levels within the organization.
      • Strategic thinker with leadership qualities, adept at managing relationships, coordinating teams, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
      • Commitment to timely execution and the ability to adjust strategies to meet changing business needs.
