- Working collaboratively with your Senior Team Member and Team Leader to effectively execute finance and commercial services for the Command.
- Taking appropriate actions to coordinate and/or monitor day-to-day tasks or assigned work in an effective, timely and professional way – according to the standards set within the team.
- Assisting with Fleet coordination including utilisation reporting, servicing, fuel cards, insurance claims, parking and infringements.
- Managing the team’s inbox, including escalating enquiries in a timely manner.
- Undertaking asset management activities including stocktakes, asset disposal.
- Maintaining comprehensive records detailing all Fleet vehicles ensure the currency of the information and reporting.
- Responding to and escalate ad-hoc enquiries relating to assets, fleet and facilities.
- Assisting with managing building and accommodation projects.
- Assisting with the collation and monitoring of procurement activities and contracts.
- Keeping up to date with relevant changes with team’s policies and procedures.
- You must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
- A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an administration role in a complex or large organisation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Has completed or currently completing tertiary studies in a relevant discipline.

What is the role?
Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Corporate Administration Officer.
The Finance and Commercial team supports a Command through the delivery of financial policy advice, management accounting and reporting, asset management, fleet services and facilities services.
You work effectively in a small team and responsible for assisting with the delivering of day-to-day services that ensure the Commands financial and commercial compliance and operational readiness. You perform a range of corporate activities and are the initial point of contact for frontline enquires; escalating matters accordingly to ensure high quality and timely finance and commercial services are delivered to the Command
You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.
What will you do?
As a member of the Finance and Commercial Team, you work under supervision and contribute to tasks based on Command priorities such as assisting with asset stocktakes, financial statements and logistical support.
