- Brief design work and close the loop with internal clients
- Collaborate effectively to ensure team goals are achieved by providing input into decision making and problem solving
- Provide administrative support for internal communication activities this includes alignment with the CA administrator to assist with processing of cost estimates and invoices for the department and working with supply chain to follow up on RFI and RFQ’s
- Establish an independent image library for Thungela
- Manage the technical and system requirements of the new library by engaging with stakeholders
- Review the Thungela image archive and determine which images are to be uploaded into the new library
- Facilitate the caption process of images in the library, manage the consent forms for each image and ensure that each image is adequately accounted for
- Update the image library with recent pictures from events
- Oversee and process events bookings
- Liaise and work with other departments to meet client/stakeholder needs or requirements
- Provide administrative support to the communications and events team across all events as required
- Collate event packs and materials and arrange administrative logistics when required
- Implement systems to record all event data to be used for event marketing and planning, including research activity to audit and inform future event decisions
- Matric
- Diploma or Degree in communications/ Branding/ Marketing/ Supply chain or related field
- Strong admin skills
- MS Office
- Understanding of storing, organising, managing, and distributing images
- Customer service orientation and good personal relationships
- Ability to work independently and plan, organise, control, and review own work

It is one of the largest pure-play producers and exporters of thermal coal in South Africa based on aggregate coal reserves and marketable coal production. Thungela focuses on exporting its thermal coal portfolio mainly to the Indian, Asian, Southeast Asian, Middle East and North African markets.
