      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Research and identify funding opportunities from corporations, foundations, and other institutional funders aligned with the employer’s mission
      - Develop, write, and submit compelling grant proposals, sponsorship requests, and reports that clearly communicate program goals and impact
      - Manage the full grant lifecycle, including proposal development, submission, tracking, reporting, and stewardship
      - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with funders through regular communication, updates, and stewardship efforts
      - Collaborate with program, finance, and leadership teams to align funding requests with strategic priorities and budgets

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, or related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience
      - Minimum 5 years of successful grant writing experience with foundations or corporations
      - Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
      - Excellent written communication—clear, concise, and tailored to diverse funder audiences
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in social services, capital campaigns, or Raiser's Edge
      - Collaborative mindset, with a keen ability to translate program goals into compelling proposals
