      Role Description

      Report to VP Corporate Affairs and work across all corporate affairs matters affecting Live Nation UK and Ireland and Live Nation EMEA.

      The Corporate Communications Officer will help support the company's growth and communicate Live Nation's corporate narrative to UK and EMEA employees, stakeholders and media. This is an opportunity to join a small but busy team, working as part of the wider Live Nation Entertainment Corporate Communications function delivering the global strategy for the company.

      Who you are

      Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

      • Thorough attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
      • Experience editing and drafting copy
      • Superb written and verbal communications skills
      • Experience using PowerPoint, Excel and Word
      • Experience working in or with the live music sector is preferred but not essential
      • Experience working in public relations, corporate affairs, or government affairs would be advantageous

      What the role includes

      • Draft, coordinate and deliver Live Nation UK and Ireland/ EMEA employee communications
      • Assist in running of Live Nation UK and Ireland/EMEA corporate press office
      • Prepare (draft, proofread, edit and manage approvals) press releases, statements and quotes on behalf of, and in collaboration with, Live Nation UK and Ireland/EMEA businesses
      • Ensure key business heads are informed about breaking news stories and cuttings relevant to Live Nation
      • Prepare briefings for Live Nation UK and Ireland/EMEA Execs on issues in line with global corporate messaging
      • Work with all Live Nation UK and Ireland/EMEA comms teams to ensure consistency in communications approach
      • Help to deliver US corporate communications strategy across UK and Ireland/EMEA businesses
      • Provide support during crisis periods within the business
      • Assist the SVP Government Affairs with policy and lobbying objectives
      • Assist with drafting responses to consultations, All Party Groups and Select Committees, as well as drafting letters to MPs
      • Help prepare for public hearings on policy matters across concerts, festivals and ticketing
      • Liaise with relevant trade bodies representing the sector to governments and agencies
