      Summary

      The Corporate Communications Specialist will be providing support to FGF Brands across North America and be responsible for internal communications. Reporting to T&D PMO and Organizational Change Management (OCM) Leader, the Corporate Communications Specialist will focus on delivering effective and timely communication across key communications channels to reach team members and internal stakeholders as required.

      An ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage multiple activities. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally is critical to success in this role.

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Support the development and deployment of various internal communications materials, such as leadership communication, companywide announcements, project launch newsletters, email content, town hall presentations, and events etc.
      • Support content strategy, creation and accountability of FGF24 – digital platform used to communicate to our frontline team members
      • Support content development and deployment of communications, as part of change management strategy for various company projects and initiatives – work in strong collaboration with the OCM team
      • Support content strategy for new and existing communications tools and channels throughout the FGF network leveraging FGF’s communications framework
      • Act as a resource to the business on the development and deployment of communications plans in support of various business objectives
      • Ensure that all communications align with FGF’s culture, in addition to talent and employment brand standards.
      • Other duties as required

      Required Experience

      • Strong communications skills - excellent writing and editing skills, with confident presentation skills
      • 3+ years of communications experience in a corporate environment or communications agency
      • Demonstrated skill and flair in business writing, editing, and proofreading
      • Advanced MS Power Point knowledge and proficiency with other MS Office products including Outlook, Excel and Teams
      • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Canva or other graphic design software an asset
      • University Degree or College Diploma in related discipline required
