What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements
- Advise operational partners on risk assessment regarding company policies and procedures
- Manage relationships with third-party bodies, including auditors and state dental/optometry boards
- Collaborate with the People Services team on employment law matters
- Design, review, and implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws
What is Required (Qualifications):
- JD degree
- Minimum of five years of experience in a corporate counsel role
- Minimum of five years of experience in legal advising
- Expertise in employment law
- Strong organizational and time management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous healthcare management experience
- In-depth knowledge of administrative law, risk assessment, and problem-solving
- Demonstrated experience with arbitration and mediation
- Licensure (or ability to be licensed) in some or all of the following states: CA, CO, DC, KS, MD, NM, OK
