      Job Description Summary:

      We are seeking a high energy and innovative professional to join our Corporate Development group for the summer. The position is highly visible in the organization and involves frequent interaction with the senior executive team as well as all other PayPal staff levels and external stakeholders, globally.

      The Corporate Development Summer MBA Intern will:
      •Support deal leads in the inorganic growth opportunities for PayPal globally – from idea to business case to deal execution and post-deal integration – taking a holistic, cross-functional approach
      •Assist in all aspects of the deal, including sourcing, qualification, strategic rationale, financial modeling, due diligence, and closing & integration planning activities
      •Coordinate a cross-functional deal team within PayPal as well as serve as a point of contact to target company management
      •Ambitiously identify and qualify new ideas & companies for PayPal from internal & external sources

      Job Requirements:

      • Excited about the future of technology, financial services, and commerce
      • Team player, pro-active and action-oriented, anticipates needs, is assertive, and is highly accountable
      • Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics
      • Excellent judgment, mature personality, and experience working with executives; a sophisticated and well-connected, worldly businessperson
      • Adept with technology and a strategic thinker – knows what’s best for the business
      • Currently working towards an MBA degree or related majors
      • Minimum 4 years of experience in either Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Corporate Development

      Internship Program Information and Requirements:

      • This is a Summer 2024 Internship program. Spring and Fall 2024 internships are not available.
      • Must currently be pursuing an MBA from an accredited college or university.
      • Must be returning to school in the Fall of 2024.
      • Must reside in the U.S. during the Summer internship program.

      The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $43,400 to $111,980.
