What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide sign language interpreting services for Sorenson employees, customers, and guests
- Interpret in various settings such as staff meetings, company-wide announcements, trainings, interviews, and product review meetings
- Comply with the Code of Professional Conduct established by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf
- Work with the Lead Interpreter to develop a professional development plan
- Foster creativity, positivity, open dialogue, and feedback within the Corporate Interpreting Team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Exceptional understanding of Deaf Culture
- Fluency in ASL and English
- Exceptional interpreting skills in ASL and English
- Thorough understanding and adherence to RID's Code of Professional Conduct
- Familiarity and experience in helping build an understanding of Deaf Culture

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a sign language interpreter
- Previous experiences as a VRS Interpreter
