      Job Description

      The Firm is actively searching for undergraduates who are smart, hardworking and goal oriented to join our team as a desktop support technician and work with us part-time during the school year. You will support Perella Weinberg Partners’ users, working closely with colleagues throughout all areas of the firm. You will be expected to provide first level of support to all employees. Please also note that this will be an in-office position.

      During this internship, you will have direct exposure to the business, help troubleshoot technology issues with users and be mentored by senior team members. Below are some of the areas you will have exposure to and the technologies we use most:

      • Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Add-ins
      • Network printer setup
      • Active Directory
      • Python or Powershell
      • Remote assistance of a user
      • Virtual Desktop
      • iPhone and Android devices managed by a MDM system Video Conferencing Avaya PBX phone system Various Market Data Network Printers Virtual Desktop Environment International and remote assistance for all PWP offices
      • Enterprise level video conferencing

      Qualifications

      • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/major: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent program
      • General understanding of business processes and technology
      • Demonstrated interest and aptitude for technology including cloud cyber security, compliance and digital enablement, demonstrated client service mindset, critical thinking and quantitative skills
      • Excellent communication and time management skills
      • Flexible and adaptive team player
      • Passion for learning with a wide degree of creativity and curiosity
