- Lead, mentor and manage a team of experienced hybrid event planners at the senior and professional level.
- Partner with key business unit leadership to develop the strategic plan and provide oversight associated with all onsite, offsite and hybrid events and associated management of the G&A budget for the department.
- Thoughtfully allocate team resources to best meet an ever-changing range of meetings and events.
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with other internal teams involved with event support, including Audio Visual, Setup, Concierge, Catering, Facilities, Engineering, Corporate Communications & Creative.
- Ensure all events are planned and executed in alignment with enterprise policies and standards including engaging with ethics and compliance as appropriate.
- Develop and manage event standards to ensure that events appropriately represent the corporation’s image in the community.
- Support RFI and RFP development and execution, negotiations and contract execution as needed.
- Develop appropriate industry informed KPI’s, reporting and dashboards to communicate scope and scale of support provided to the enterprise.
- Bachelor's Degree in hospitality management or business management preferred, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience managing an event’s team in a corporate campus or conference center/ hotel environment.
- Experience with current technology trends for corporate events, including virtual meeting platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams and Teams Live), effect lighting (e.g. GOBOs, uplighting, etc.), hybrid event planning/logistics/workflows. As well as more ‘traditional’ capabilities such as microphones, sound systems, dynamic cameras, etc.
- One or more of the following certifications: Certified Meeting Planner (CMP), Certified Professional in Catering and Events (CPCE), Certified Meeting Manager (CMM), Certified Event Planning Specialist (CEPS) or, International Corporate Event Planning Professional (ICEPP).
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to details.
- Flexible schedule for occasional nights, travel and events.
- Motivational leader who inspires others to perform at their best. Ability to work with multiple levels within an organization and cross functionally.
- Strong customer service, organizational, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Visionary who acts as a source of expertise and best practices in event strategy; advising team and clients accordingly on best ways to accomplish event objectives.

Your Impact:
In this role you will be the face of the Event Services team. The CME Manager has multiple direct reports, oversight of over 1,500 events on-campus, as well as a handful of off-site events per year. The CME Manager works closely with our outsourced services provider for catering, concierge services and room set-up for on-site events taking place in one of 14 configurable event spaces. This role is responsible for the oversight and management of Meetings and Events for the enterprise, seamlessly executing events and continuously improving employee experience.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $112,000 - $168,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.About the company
