- Assisting the legal department with corporate law matters, including legal entity management, annual filings, and other legal transactions.
- Implementing changes to contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Assisting sales operations in completing agreements with customers.
- Assisting procurement and vendor management of products and services procured by the company.
- Drafting and managing various business entity documents (e.g., articles of incorporation, dissolution, stock certificates, merger agreements).
- Creating and distributing annual reports.
- Handling paperwork needed by regulatory bodies.
- Attending corporate meetings and preparing corporate resolutions.
- Drafting legal contracts, correspondence, and other relevant documents.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using virtual data rooms to upload and organize documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb attention to detail, organizational abilities, and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems such as Concord, PandaDoc or others.
- High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Paralegal certification is a plus.
Description
The Corporate Paralegal for HITRUST plays a crucial role in supporting legal operations within the company.
