The Receptionist position is a key member of the Corporate Human Resource Team responsible for providing excellent customer service by answering inquiries and provide information to the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties regarding activities conducted at establishment and location of departments, offices, and employees within the organization. Serve as Administrative Support for Corporate HR and Executive Leadership Team. Essential Functions Statement(s) • Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments. • Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations. • Log ID badge requests for new and replacement badges for Logistics • Schedule interviews and/or appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars. • Hear and resolve complaints from customers or the public and handle appropriatley. • Perform administrative support tasks, such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, developing and maintaining reports, PowerPoints, spreadsheets or operating calculators or computers to work with pay records, invoices, applicant tracking, employee engagement, training database or other HR related documents or processes. • Scan, email, file and maintain records. • Transmit information or documents to customers or other employees, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine. • Analyze data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public. • Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries. • Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided. • Process and prepare memos, correspondence, travel vouchers, or other documents. • Keep a current record of staff members' whereabouts and availability. • Perform duties, such as stocking beverage center, taking care of plants or straightening magazines to maintain lobby or reception area. • Schedule space, equipment, hotels and meals for special programs, peer group meetings, etc. and prepare lists of participants. • Assists in other functions as needed • Responsible for continuous self-improvement, taking initiative, and exhibiting a willingness to learn through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Experience: Ability to answer and direct a high volume of calls.
One year experience in Human Resources is preferred.Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. SharePoint experience preferred.
