      Position Summary:

      The Corporate Trainer designs, delivers, and evaluates engaging, high-impact training experiences for all Georgia Aquarium employees and volunteers. This role is essential in advancing learning initiatives that align with the Aquarium’s strategic priorities, enhancing guest excellence, fostering innovation, and cultivating a vibrant organizational culture.

      Responsibilities:

      1. Champion a professional, inclusive, and dynamic learning culture that reflects Georgia Aquarium’s mission and values.
      2. Facilitate interactive and impactful learning sessions using a blend of in-person, virtual, and digital formats tailored to diverse audiences.
      3. Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Georgia Aquarium Academy e-learning content and platform, providing both technical support and instructional guidance.
      4. Partner cross-functionally with assigned teams and departments to identify and deliver engaging, relevant training aligned with organizational goals.
      5. Collaborate with department leaders to assess specific performance needs and develop targeted learning solutions.
      6. Use data, feedback, and analytics to assess training effectiveness and continuously improve content to ensure learning outcomes are met.
      7. Plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
      8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wildlife, environmental, and conservation issues to integrate into training content and conversations.
      9. Actively participate in internal events and initiatives, contributing to a collaborative, mission-driven aquarium culture.
      10. Perform other duties as workload necessitates.

      Qualifications:

      1. College degree or equivalent relevant work experience required; preferably in training & development, education, or hospitality related fields.
      2. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in training delivery, instructional design, or talent development, ideally in a guest-focused, nonprofit, or educational setting.
      3. Proven ability to deliver engaging, learner-centered training to diverse audiences across in-person, virtual, and hybrid environments.
      4. Proficiency in designing curriculum and learning materials using adult learning principles, ADDIE or similar models, and blended learning strategies.
      5. Strong working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning tools (Absorb, Litmos, Blackboard), and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Canva).
      6. Experience in using assessments, feedback, and learning analytics to measure training impact and drive continuous improvement.
      7. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
      8. Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, time management, and execution under tight deadlines.
      9. Passion for education, conservation, and guest experience; committed to supporting Georgia Aquarium’s mission and values through impactful learning.
      10. Must pass background check.
      11. Must pass drug screening.
      12. Must be able to work flexible hours- including weekends and evenings
