What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a key member of a modeling team responsible for modeling, reporting, and business analytics within the finance department
- Execute Prophet model conversions and development in accordance with centralized governance policy
- Utilize advanced modeling techniques to reflect complex product designs accurately
- Collaborate with business units to understand requested model changes and assist in model acceptance
- Document all changes and testing to the models to ensure accuracy and compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- FSA designation or equivalent
- Proficiency in FIS Prophet software for modeling, valuation, and financial reporting
- Experience customizing Prophet models to meet specific business needs and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and related risks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex actuarial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge and/or experience with ALS is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean processes
- Experience in the technical execution/support of complex projects
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
