Offered Wage: $149,500.00/year
Duties: Implement Accenture’s Life Insurance Platform (ALIP) and RGA’s Automated Underwriting Risk Assessment (AURA) related to ingesting work, processing rules, utilizing look-up tables, integrating with other existing systems and ultimately auto decisioning the cases. Interpret XML and system tables to assess how they impact ALIP and AURA. Maintain, administer, troubleshoot, and configure ALIP and AURA toolset or other toolsets for business needs. Own ALIP and AURA backlogs, including refinement, prioritization of open issues and enhancements, while having a holistic view of the interdependencies. Write business and technical requirements and configure changes in ALIP and AURA for requested enhancements and small bug fixes. Communicate with business sponsors to ensure enhancements and upgrades are completely understood before implementing changes, including writing release notes. Lead ALIP and AURA stand up meetings, including agendas and meeting notes, and other meetings as required. Represent the new business application intake team in various forums and interdepartmental collaboration. Work with other IT agile teams when NYL Direct initiatives require interaction between systems. Manage the teams’ incidents through Service Now, working with platform partners, Accenture and RGA, as well as internal teams through to resolution. Perform quality assurance and reporting on development efforts being completed by other members of the technical staff, to deliver the expected business value. Manage control reports and analyze results from data mining to provide insight to upper management for decision-making.
Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering
or
a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus eight (8) years of experience utilizing Organization Life Insurance and Annuities Platform, also known as Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP) or industry equivalent to develop software components for new business and underwriting or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience utilizing Organization Life Insurance and Annuities Platform, also known as Accenture Life Insurance Platform (ALIP) or industry equivalent to develop software components for new business and underwriting. Specific skills/other requirements - Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Managing service integrations for the ALIP and AURA platforms as a technical lead; Writing queries and developing reports using related query language/tools (Toad); Developing and implementing changes for business units including operations, compliance, and policy maintenance to ensure no defects; Researching and developing new technical workflows, troubleshooting production issues, and recommending improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity; and writing requirements, implementing changes, notifying QA for testing, and deploying updates. Position requires 5-10% domestic and international travel. Hybrid role - 2 days remote, 3 days in office.

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
