      The role you will contribute:

      The position is the entry level position in the department and as such the position has a heavy emphasis on on-the-job-learning provided by the position's direct manager as well as the rest of the Team. The position works under the direct supervision, guidance, training and direction of their leader and is responsible for completing department related processes and services as assigned including but not limited to: Completing the monthly costing process for all assigned Cost Models, preparing cost accounting related analysis and reporting as assigned, follows regular auditing procedures and validation of the costing process results for assigned Cost Models to insure the highest possible level of accuracy of the costing data, assists as assigned with the monthly setup and configuration thru initial running of Reclasses of the costing process to achieve timely and accurate updating of cost for all AdventHealth hospitals, and assists with the maintenance and update of multiple key inputs to the costing process to assure timely and accurate costing inputs for all AdventHealth hospitals as assigned. The position is expected to always keep the confidentiality of the extensive knowledge of companywide financial and payroll data used in the cost accounting system both at work and off hours. This position is expected to take the initiative to prioritize and manage work while meeting multiple deadlines.

      • Department Specific Duties and Responsibilities as Assigned
      • Completes monthly costing and special projects for assigned Cost Model groups
      • Works directly with their leader to complete the monthly maintenance and updating of all manual statistics required to complete monthly costing
      • Works directly with their leader to complete the monthly costing initial setup and configuration process thru initial running of Reclasses
      • Works directly with their leader to complete updates of physician practice mapping, square footage, cost mapping, and other key inputs for the costing system as assigned
      • Sends out the monthly costing completed communication for all assigned Cost Models to assure timely updates for end users
      • Provides exceptional customer service to all users of the department’s services.
      • Completes other projects and duties under the direct guidance and direction of their leader.

      The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

      • 4 Year Degree in Business related area Required

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • 4 Year Degree in Finance Preferred
      • Healthcare Cost Accounting experience a plus Preferred
      • Knowledge of healthcare operations a plus Preferred
      • •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when needed. Preferred
