      QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Cost and Price Analyst to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position is contingent upon award of the PD SAI SETA Task Order.

      Duties:

      • Provides high level subject matter expertise in support of the program life cycle cost estimates (LCCE).
      • Develops or evaluates cost assessments, cost positions relating to the systems development, demonstration, and production approaches.
      • Assesses impact on systems and program costs, including analyses of prototype systems.
      • Performs extensive coordination with the Project Manager, PEO/ PEO staff, DA staff, other services, and industry personnel during all phases of the life cycle of assigned projects.
      • Performs organization-wide analysis of cost models and LCCEs.
      • Applies expert knowledge of cost analysis and evaluation, Army missions, goals and objectives.
      • Reviews, assists, and mentors junior employees’ work for quality and accuracy of work.
      • Coordinates work efforts with Contract Officer Representative (COR).
      • Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for advising Project Manager (PM) on technical guidance and information to meet requirements.

      Required Skills & Experience:

      • Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
      • Strong analytical ability.
      • MS Office proficiency with advanced MS Excel skills.
      • Experience with ACE-IT preferred.

      Required Clearance:

      • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Economics, preferred.
      • A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience providing analysis for multiple large projects.
      • Four (4) additional years of related experience will substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

      Travel:

      Travel is not expected for this position.

      Work Environment:

      This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.

      • Be independently mobile.

      • Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.

      Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

      This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
